‘Reaching the Tipping Point’

Introduction

The objective of the summit is to provide a forum for construction industry role players to address construction H&S related matters with specific emphasis on topical issues, the development of knowledge and skills areas, and to debate ‘challenging’ issues.

To this end the summit will address a range of issues, namely: corruption; digitalisation; economics of H&S; ergonomics; innovation; professionalism; prevention through design; registration; the intention of H&S endeavours; the role of project financiers, and the role of H&S in the business of construction.

The summit will be of relevance to architects, clients, construction managers, construction project managers, construction H&S agents / managers / officers, contractors, engineers, inspectors, interior designers, landscape architects, materials manufacturers, plant providers, project financiers, quantity surveyors, and all interested construction role players.

Theme

Given the persistence of H&S problems, the theme for the 2023 Summit will be ‘Reaching the Tipping Point’.

Programme

The Summit will consist of four sessions, morning refreshments, lunch, afternoon refreshments, and end with a ‘rant’.
